LTUM is working on developing what could be one of the best sources of clean energy known to mankind, Lithium Energy.
Lithium based energy can be a clean portable source for the countless mobile products either entering or in today’s technology market. Laptops, ipods, cell phones, Bluetooth devices, and electric cars are just a few of the application for this innovative take on energy.
A major driver of this mobile technology is the 4G wireless push which is set to take off late in 2010; this will be a major step forward for mobile devices; and should have powerful positive implications for the Lithium Industry for years to come.
That being said, Demand for Lithium is expected to grow exponential over the next decade.
Good Trades are all about timing; and timing and technical analysis go hand and hand.
When our researchers looked at LTUM from a purely technical basis they couldn’t have been happier!
The stock is poised for a drastic upward price movement and we believe that not even the recent downturn in the markets can hold it back.
After breaking out on well above average volume on January the 4th, LTUM ran from $0.94 to $1.41 in just five short trading days.
Following the run up LTUM began digesting gains and building price support on lighter volume which is always a positive sign on price declines.
LTUM appears to be in the eye of a perfect storm, and massive returns could soon rain down on investors who are quick to the punch!
During Fridays trading session the company retraced back to its original breakout point, while also finding support at the stocks 50 day moving average. Both make dominate statements that the stock should have little to no downside from where it now stands.
Another point of interest on the technical front is the spacing of the stocks Bollinger bands, which are currently retracing towards each other. For our readers who don’t know the meaning behind Bollinger Bands, I’ll give a brief overview of their use. Bollinger bands adjust to market conditions and can be an accurate measure of volatility. The closer the price moves to the lower band, the more oversold the stock. Also the tightening of the bands is often used by technical traders as an early indication that the volatility is about to increase sharply.
Looking at the chart we see that LTUM is trending right above the lower band indicating that shares are oversold. While at the same time the distance between both bands has closed by more than half since the stock hit highs back in early January.
But there’s more than just an interesting technical play at work here!
To give you a better understanding of the Lithium market, there is only one operating lithium mine in the entire United States!
While Technology and the Auto industry has been pushing demand for lithium. LTUM has been locking up properties that show great promise.
In fact, Lithium Corp. has managed to acquire several land claims in Nevada near Silver Peak, the lone operating mine I just mentioned.
According to LTUM samples, lithium sediments are double what were found at Silver Peak.
On January the 14th, LTUM acquired the Salt Wells Lithium project. Staking claim to 12,320 acres, sampling conducted was more than positive as 83% of the samples returned anomalous values of lithium.
In a recent press release the company stated due to the positive findings, they look forward to conducting more exploration work. There was also an excerpt from a Major Canadian newspaper comparing Lithium exploration as the 21th centuries GOLD RUSH!

Look for LTUM to make a powerful JUMP in the coming days! The only questions is do you want to be jumping for joy, or jumping off a cliff because you let this opportunity pass you by!?!
